Very little chance. Try thinking of a less specific career, such as finance.
2 :
Who knows in 14 yrs That job could no longer exist and be handled by a computer program
3 :
The first step is that you MUST have an MBA from a quality school. The harder step is getting your foot in the door at a firm in which you can start to showcase your talent and take on accounts that you can be trusted with. Expect a good 20/yrs worth of work before you see the light of day. Hedge Funds don't hand multi-million dollar accounts to kids in their 20s. Unless you came out of Harvard with an MBA and you've got connections on Wall Street. Now if that long term game plan doesn't work for you, then I suggest you find a ton of money or start pitching your skills to locals in the community and hope they invest in you.

About Where should a single guy like me move to

Where should a single guy like me move to?
I am looking for places to relocate to. I am currently in South Jersey, but am looking to go someplace that caters to single, active, professional males like myself. Here is a list of criteria. If you respond to list a city, state, or other location, indicate the reason why you recommend it, even if it doesn't meet all the criteria. I really appreciate the input. 1) Location with lots of attractive, healthy, single women 2) Tough anti-smoking laws (I HATE SMOKERS) 3) Really good air quality 4) Low taxes 5) Lots of IT jobs available 6) Lots of good restaurants, culture, within an hour drive 7) Places were I can ride my bike and go running 8) Warm weather, and extremely mild winters 9) Decent cost of living 10) Extremely low crime rate 11) Someplace that has decent scenery, a beach, mountains, stuff like that. Also, here are some places I have looked at in the past, and why I haven't chosen them (yet). Dallas Area - Not sure there were a lot of singles here, taxes were fair, housing is cheap, but anti-smoking laws are non-existant. Air quality needs work Phoenix/Scottsdale - Very nice area, but the economy seems shakey. Lots of pretty girls too. Seems like it would be way to hot in summer. Las Vegas - Lots of stuff to do, if you are into Casinos, and only Casinos. I always felt like I had to watch my back if I got off the strip Toronto - Really liked the city, lots of pretty girls there. Didn't seem like the air quality was great, and there wasn't many areas I could ride my bike or even run. Looking forward to your help... Wow, great feedback, keep it coming!

Salt Lake City UT or Park City UT ... People are frightened of UT because of the Mormon's ... I moved here alone as a non Mormon British girl and I have had NO problems at all. I LOVE it here. I am NOT a MORMON I have NEVER had a problem with a MORMON I have been a bartender here and I have never had a problem. Plus UT has a HUGE IT base. If you move up to Layton you have Northrup Grumman, Bowing, ATK Space Systems (all huge military contractors) etc and the AF base there. The outdoors is second to NONE. I now live in MT and before that lived in Germany and grew up in England and STILL miss UT!!!

Chicago! its the best city in the world. you can find any thing you want there.

I live in the St. Louis Area, on the IL side and I love it here. The only thing that doesn't meet your list is the winters are cold. There are TONS of really good places to eat in stl, IT jobs are also becoming more popular since Ranken Tech, IT, and Some other college are pushings kids out with degrees for the area. It's a rising area. The St. Louis area to me has a pretty view. Esp. in the parks in the city and the arch front view. Ther are alot of parks that have pretty views where you can ride your bike or run. The just passed the anti-smoking law. I personally don't feel that its too hot in the summer. If you get too hot, save up for a boat, go down to the loading docks on the IL side of the Mississippi and go down to the party cove, this is also where a lot of women hang out. Good Luck.

The obvious choice is ASU. However, given that you are working and you need to take night classes it might be a little more difficult. You might try Thunderbird School of Global Management. Also, you might want to check out Grand Canyon University or University of Phoenix

About How long is the commute between South Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ

How long is the commute between South Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ?
I am moving to the Phoenix area in a few weeks, but do not yet have an apartment. I will be working in South Phoenix, close to Laveen, but in the city limits of Phoenix. I was thinking about living in Scottsdale, but don't know how long it would take to drive. The map says its about 23 miles, but in traffic, don't know if that would be really long. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

15 minutes. All freeway your in luck! Scottsdale= nice South Phoenix= lock your doors!
2 :
With traffic 30-35 min. With little to no traffic 20-25 min.
3 :
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/South+Phoenix+AZ/%5B123-127%5D+E+Main+St+Scottsdale+AZ+85259/
4 :
I live in pheonix and during rush hour 7:00 to 9:00 it can take about 45 min to get to scottsdale but if there is a wreck it can take about 2 to 3 hours depending on how many lanes are open and which freeway you take. It will probably take you an hour to get there. Just allow ourself enough time incase there is an accident and get familiar with side streets so you can go around the freeway if there is. oh and evening rush hour starts around 3:30, 4:00 and ends around 6:30
5 :
Depending on what time of day, 45 minutes to and hour.
6 :
It depends on your work hours and where in Scottsdale that you are going to live. If you have to take the 101 freeway South, it'll take you a little longer to get there because the 101 is always jam packed. If you're going to be renting, you should look into South Scottsdale or Tempe. The fastest route would be going from the 202 freeway, to the 143 express way South, I-10 West to the I-17, and then 7th Ave or 19th Ave south.
7 :
Why do you want to live so far away from your work. There are some nice areas closer to your job. Or, even south Tempe would be better.

About What is the cost of living in Phoenix/Scottsdale

What is the cost of living in Phoenix/Scottsdale?
I'm considering a move to arizona in the near future...I live in chicago now, and with today's 3 BELOW weather arizona's looking REAL GOOD! But on average, how much is rent, utilities, gas, public transportation, etc? Also, is there an abundance of walgreens? (if you've lived or been to Chicago, you know they're everywhere!) I work for walgreens and would like to continue to do so until I finish school. I'd really like to find out if it's worth the move.

Scottsdale is high priced compared to Phoenix or Mesa. The average home in Scottsdale right now is $450,000 but a comparable home in Phoenix can run half that amount. Rents in Scottsdale are also three to four times higher than Phoenix or Mesa or Glendale. As for Walgreens, they are everywhere and building more and more as we speak. I have lived in the Phoenix area for 30 years and it is expensive to live here and getting more and more polluted and crowded as people move here. If you can live in 120+ Degree heat in the summer, you will love it, but be prepared to pay for electric air conditioner bills. The average air conditioner bill from April through October is $220.00 for a 1400 sq foot home with the air set at 80 Degrees.

This website will answer everything you want to know compared to the rest of the US. I am from Arizona I don't live there now I am moving back soon though. I think the cost of living there is high but according to this website Phoenix is in line with the average cost of living in the US. The average rent is 650 per month right now the average gas price is $2.15 per gallon utilities would be impossible to figure too many variables. There are Walgreen's there. the average home price is about $160,000 in Phoenix. There are several suburbs that are much more expensive. Phoenix has a lot of crime but I guess it wouldn't be a big deal if you are from Chicago. I love Arizona I think it is a great place. In phoenix you can wear short sleeve shirts year round

I am from California and also considering a move to Phoenix, now for those who are from Phoenix and say it is expensive to live there just remember that compared to Chicago and San Francisco Phoenix is inexpensive. I take it you are most likely looking for an apartment not a home so the rent in Phoenix will be considerably less than Chicago, you can easily find a decent studio or 1bdrm for $500.00 and under. If you can afford 600+ then you will have no problem finding an apt in a nice area some even include utilities. I'd say check out Craigslist.org. Also Careerbuilders.com is a good website for jobs.

i currently live in the chandler area and i really like it. my boyfriend moved here from chicago about 4 years ago and he likes it too. says the weather is perfect. scottsdale is considered upscale and is largely populated by elderly who are retired. rent is pretty spendy and the apts/houses tend to be older for a reasonable price range. phoenix is hit or miss-the downtown area and anything closely surrounding it is BAD. i work in a large hospital right in the heart of downtown in a trauma icu and you don't want to know the stuff i see due to the violence that occurs. Tempe is a college town-home to ASU. i lived there for a while but didn't like it. i'm 28 and a mom of 3 so the loud parties and trashed houses surrounding mine weren't appealing to me. but the town itself is ok-lots of places to hang out and rent isn't bad. my 3 bedroom house ran 850/month and utilities were on average about 150.00 Mesa is old and run-down in most places. the crime rate is fairly high as well unless you go out far east mesa where the new homes are being built chandler/gilbert is the area i live in and i really like it. my neighborhood is older but totally safe-i would have no problem leaving my door unlocked at night (but i dont). there are lots of places close by to hang out at and do things. rent in this area will run you anywhere from 750-1200 depending on what type of apt or house you are looking for. there are walgreens EVERYWHERE so finding a job shouldn't be hard at all-plus the corporate office for their pharmacies is located in tempe. utilities run about 60 a month in the winter for an apt but i know in my 1700 square foot house i can get the bill to run the same in the winter. summers can range from 150-250 depending on how often you run your air conditioner. temps can easily get up to 120 during that time. overall i think the move is a good one if you like warm weather. there are plenty of college options here as well. my boyfriend loves it here-it's hardly ever cold and he doesn't miss the snow and ice at all!!
5 :
DON'T DO IT! I'm not sure where in Chicago you live, if you live in the suburbs and spend most of your time there you will probably like it here. However, if you live in the city and like that type of atmosphere, forget about it. I just moved here last May from Chicago, and it was probably the worst decision I have ever made. The weather is the only good thing about living here. Everywhere you go you have to drive, there is NO reliable public transportation. Traffic is retarded, it takes me 40 minutes to drive 7 miles to work every morning. Rent is not that cheap (for anywhere decent). The nightlife is pathetic and there are an abundance of crappy chain restaurants. On the plus side, there are tons of Walgreens though!
6 :
I just had to jump in. Arizona was a cool place to live in the 70's and 80's. Today you could not pay me to live there. Try Indiana. Wide open farm land, dirt cheap housing, good schools, and really great people. It will cost you 10 time's as much to live in Arizona.

Often they know of places to have parties and receptions. I believe their website is http://www.visitphoenix.com/

About How does financial aid work

How does financial aid work?
I've already filed for it and it has been processed through FAFSA. What now? Do I get a check in the mail? Does it go straight to my school? I'm in Scottsdale, AZ if that help any.

When I applied for it I just had to wait until it came to the school. When it came in the financial aid secretary for the school sent me a note and had me come by and pick it up. It was pretty neat because the school let me charge any books I needed and gave them to me the day of and then had it subtracted from my big check when I got it. Just be sure you pass the semester because other wise you have to pay them the money back. This happened to a guy I knew once and he was in a heep of trouble.
2 :
you will get a Student Aid Report (SAR) back in the mail with an EFC (expected family contribution). You'll probably think the EFC is too high, but dont' worry about it cause that's what the loans are for. Financial aid sends the information to the schools you indicated and they create an award amount for you based on your EFC, the program you want to be in, how many outside scholaships you are getting etc. Your school will send you an award letter listing what you can accept or decline for grants and loans for the upcoming year, usually both terms are listed and you have to accept or decline for both fall and spring. subsidized loans are better because you do not have to pay interest on them. at undergrad level you are eligible for grants. grants do not need to be paid back so it is always better to take grants first, subsidized second, and unsubsidized last.
3 :
you go to the school and if you are typing now you are very late. 2 months of school is gone. Go to your financial aid office office and go there every day until you cased the check. Dont be afraid to go there everyday and bug them. You pay them, they dont pay you. So go tell them you filled out fasfa and you want to know what else you need to do. And make them look you up on the computer. if they just brush you off without seeing any information on you, dont go for that. Say, "can you check me out on the computer" if you get loans you are going to have to sign an reward letter and find a lender. Usually something online they have at the schools sight. if its just a pell grant they will cut you a check and you wont have to sign a reward letter.

You should go to: http://www.mpvclub.com/ I'm sure someone on there will be able to recommend someone near by that knows their stuff. Good question though. I had the same question with my first MPV after realizing that most mechanics treat them like they are just another vehicle- which they aren't.

Where can I buy a new motor in Scottsdale/ Phoenix AZ for my airsoft rifle?
My Broxa Evolution from Aftermath has stopped working and it sound as if the problem is coming from the motor. Is there anyway I can replace the motor and get the gun to work again? Last time it stopped working I took it to a shop and they found some wires unplugged on the inside of the gun. I'm afraid to take it apart because I feel I may brake it even more. So what would be the easiest way to check these issues or get a new motor?

I'm a college student visiting my working boyfriend, and everything seems to either be closed, expensive, or winter-only by the time he gets off of work at 5:00 each day. Do you have any ideas for fun stuff to do in the area? We have a car, if it's a little farther away. Weekday ideas ONLY please!

There's not much to do in Scottsdale besides going to clubs, expensive restaurants, and malls. You might want to check out Golfland-Sunsplash waterpark in Mesa. It's really close to Scottsdale. http://www.golfland.com/mesa/

I live in Phoenix, but not in the Scottsdale area. However, I do go to Scottsdale quite often. There are lots of things to do there. For example, the malls and restaurants. You should check out the Scottsdale Fashion Square. It is a huge mall, and they recently added a whole new section a few months ago. All the cool stores, like Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Pacsun, Aeropostale, Forever 21, etc. There are also some really fancy and classy restaurants, like Fogo de Chao, which is a Brazilian restaurant. Very delicious food. I also recommend visiting Old Town Scottsdale. It is a really pretty section that gives you a sense of what the Old West was like. Scottsdale is one of the nicer parts of Phoenix. However, I will warn you that Scottsdale is where most of the rich people live, and it can be expensive.
